[Fidestisan] - Let's make things better. This 1060 blade has been heat treated with oil quenching to increase its hardness. Hardness approx. 55Hrc . However, the disadvantage of carbon steel is that it is not tough,This would mean that it could not be bent, or that it would be bent out of shape and would not return to its original state. Its advantage is that it is hard and has a good sharpness,good value for money. The colour of the blade is baked Purple which makes it less likely to rust than an untreated blade, but the nature of the blade is like paint and can be scratched when passing over sharp objects, so please avoid rubbing against hard objects during handling. The moment I received the item I sent you a message. This katana was made of poor quality. The sword doesn’t even stay in the saya. Well you kept telling me was oh sir, don’t worry the quality is great. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.. I sent you videos and photos of what was wrong with the katana. It’s not right to treat your customers like that.
Sir, you first sent a photograph of a broken sword generated by AI, and now you have sent a photograph showing deliberate damage. This part is the least likely to be damaged, as it is secured with nails. It would only come loose if someone were to pull at it with considerable force. Surely we couldn’t have damaged it whilst packing it for dispatch? That defies common sense.
If you had simply told us from the outset that the product was in perfect condition and that you wished to return or exchange it due to a matter of personal preference, rather than providing false evidence, that would have been fine.I now feel that you are committing fraud
I love it! It is EXACTLY as I described and ordered. I was concerned about the length of time it was taking, but for a handmade custom sword it takes a bit. I think it was real close to two months to get it ordered, created, shipped, and in my hand in Idaho.
I am super happy with it and will be ordering a Wakizashi to display next to it. I'll probably go identical on the outside with the blood red blade inside.

This is my second katana from Fidestisan made and signed by sword master xu. The craftsmanship is absolutely incredible. The custom katana I ordered was even better than I had imagined. The fit and finish is immaculate. Everything has a nice tight fit no loose fitting anything on this beautiful sword. My sword blade was made of 9260 spring steel and has a clay tempered real hamon line. If you are looking for a high quality katana this is the place.
